About SimMaven

SimMaven is a small, independent site of calculators and carefully sourced guides for simulation and management games. A maven is a trusted expert — someone who has done the work and shows it. That's the promise the name makes: expert-level answers, with the work left visible.

Why this site exists

Management sims run on numbers — prices, wages, costs, odds — and most answers out there are forum posts, half-remembered rules of thumb, or twenty-minute videos with one useful minute. This site builds the small tool or the tested route that finishes the task, and shows its work.

How we work

• Sourced first, labeled always. Numbers come from official patch notes, community wikis, or named community guides — each with a link, a game version and a check date. What hasn't been verified first-hand is labeled as such, in plain words.
• Show the formula. Every tool documents the math it uses, so you can check it or adjust it.
• Date and version everything. Each page states the game version its facts were checked against. Management games change; stale numbers dressed up as current are worse than no numbers.
• Correct in the open. Mistakes get fixed and logged on the game's changelog page, not quietly overwritten.

What this site is not

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game developer or publisher — including OPNeon Games, whose TCG Card Shop Simulator is our current focus. It's not a wiki and not a news site. It doesn't collect game accounts or passwords, ever. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Who runs it

SimMaven is written and maintained by an independent player. Found something wrong or something missing? Tell us — corrections are how the site gets good.
