Ghost rare cards: odds, value, and display Community-sourced

Top-tier rares are the cards everyone hopes to pull — and the reason plenty of players open packs they shouldn't. Here's the honest state of the odds data, what 1.0 changed, and what to do with one when it lands in your shop.

The straight answer about odds

There are no published drop rates for top-rarity cards in the current version. Not from the developer, and not from any community sample we could find with a recorded pack count for 1.0 (searched 2026-10-01). You'll see numbers quoted in forums — "about 1 in 1000", "got two in a week" — but none of them come with a documented sample. Treat every one of them, including any you've read elsewhere, as folklore until someone shows the data.

What a top-tier rare does to the pack math

You don't need exact odds to understand the shape of the problem. If a top rare is worth many times a normal card and drops rarely, most of a pack's expected value lives in a tiny probability mass:

When you actually pull one (safe advice today)

  1. Don't price it like a normal card — check what the market price screen implies for it before shelving.
  2. Remember what it does to your cash position: one card, outsized share of your week's margin. Selling it and banking the proceeds usually beats displaying it while broke.
  3. Log the pull (pack type, packs since the last rare) — you're building exactly the sample this page is missing.

Help us close the gap

This page will publish a real odds estimate the day a recorded sample exists: pack count, product line, game version, results. Yours or a community dataset — send it over and we'll credit it and show the sample size next to the number.
