Version coverage & correction log
Every page on this site states the game version its facts were checked against, and when. This page tracks that status and lists corrections. If a page and this log disagree, trust this log — then tell us.

|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-02 | Focus update. The site now concentrates on TCG Card Shop Simulator only: the Stick It to the Stickman section was removed (its content is preserved in the project archive and can return if search data justifies it). Calculator v0.2: type the market price once and all preset rows — careful / balanced / bold, plus any custom markup — are compared side by side with per-row copy buttons. Homepage redesigned task-first. The pricing, hiring and expansion pages got plain-language quick answers at the top. | 1.0 |
| 2026-10-02 | Site launched on www.simmaven.com. Custom domains bound, the noindex fuse removed — pages are now indexable. All calculators and guides verified on the live domain before the switch. | 1.0 |
| 2026-10-01 | All five guides rewritten from draft to sourced content: the starter guide, pricing mechanics (nightly recalculation, drift ranges), the full nine-employee roster with wages, the complete expansion ladder, and the pack/ghost pages. Every number links its source; where public data doesn't exist (refusal thresholds, drop rates) the pages state that plainly. Site copy updated from "playtested" to "sourced" wording to match how facts are actually verified here. | 1.0 |
| 2026-09-26 | Site built. Pricing calculator v0.1 published with an input test suite (normal, boundary and invalid inputs — see the tool-test log). Guide pages drafted with fact slots pending first playthrough. Steam lists the game's release date as 2026-09-14 after Early Access from 2024-09-15; the exact version number covered by our guides will be confirmed in the first playtest before any guide is finalized. | Pending playtest |
| 2026-10-01 | Site rebranded to SimMaven — page URLs unchanged. Calculator aligned with the Step-5 spec: added a $0.10 price floor so tiny market prices can never round down to $0.00, and a clearly-labeled rough cost estimate (50% of market) when no cost is entered. Test suite now 38 cases, all passing. | Pending playtest |
| 2026-10-01 | First open-source fact collection pass (each entry logged with its source in our fact ledger): the 1.0 version baseline is confirmed — 1.0 launched 2026-09-15 per SteamDB, with follow-up patches on 09-17/09-18; nightly market-price recalculation mechanics, staffing wage ranges, and the Lot B expansion cost ($5,000 at level 15) now have sourced entries. The exact customer markup-acceptance threshold still has no public source — it stays labeled as a community range (+10–20%) until verified first-hand in game. | 1.0 |
Known limits of the current calculator
- The +10 / +15 / +20% markup presets come from community discussion and are not verified game constants. They are adjustable starting points.
- Whether rounding to .50 / whole dollars actually speeds up checkout or reduces complaints in game is unverified.
- No bulk-discount or demand modeling — single-item arithmetic only.
Corrections follow our editorial policy: we re-verify in game, update the page, and log the change here with the date.
